FINANCIAL AID

In addition to the SASS Bursary, there are many scholarships, grants, and bursaries ARTSCIs are eligible for. This page is a great starting point.

 

USRA

  • Meant to provide for up to 15 months of full-time research-based activity over the summer, and to support research partnerships between undergrad students and faculty.

  • Deadline: February 19, 2021, at 4pm

  • Value: $7 500 x 6 (specifically for Artsci!)

Queen Elizabeth Scholarships

  • For outgoing internships, available for 3rd and 4th year students in ARTSCI, under 35 years of age and a citizen of an eligible country

  • Deadline: by November 30th ( temporarily extended!) the year prior to planned internship

  • Value: up to $6 000 to help cover costs associated with internship

The Renaissance Award

  • For someone pursing a 4-12 month, sef-directed, experiential learning experience outside of their program. The award is open to students from all faculties, but there is a history of Artsi winners!

  • Deadline: closed for the year. Will likely open again October 2021

  • Value: $25 000

  • There are resources available for students facing emergency situations such as no money for food or rent.
